In the hectic lifestyle of today, stress and chronic pain have become the plagues of our time.  Certain age old remedies are at our fingertips.
Massage Therapy reconnects the mind and body in a healthy, non-sexual and safe manner. The role of the therapist is to assist the client to initiate and maintain their own healing process. This comes from caring touch as well as the release of physical tension connected with mental and emotional discord. It breaks the pattern of tension and clears the mind to a state of "relaxed alertness."
Massage therapy has proven to be beneficial in relieving stress, pain, tension headaches and assisting in emotional healing. Effective in long term pain reduction. Stress relief alone can improve your vitality and state of mind. Massage and bodywork could play an important role in your life. Massage therapy is an adjunct to contemporary medicine and is accepted and proven as complimentary to chiropractic and physio-therapy.  Massage stimulates the production of endorphins, the body's natural painkiller.

Recent Travels
From May 30 - June 13, 1998, Bonnie traveled to China to refine the Chi Lel Qi-Gong techniques that she has been practicing for over 1 1/2 years.  The trip began and ended in Beijing with sightseeing tours of the Great Wall (see photo), Summer Palace, Imperial Palace, and Temple of Heaven.
After a five hour train ride took us to Zhineng QiGong Center in Beidaihe, China, our main training center.  We enjoyed side trips to the main training center and to the teachers training center.
Although it was wonderful to be critiqued by the "experts," the greatest value to the experience were meeting the variety of different individuals involved on the trip.  There were a total of 43 participants consisting of 8 psychologists, several interns, an emergency room physician, acupuncturist, college professors, a motivational speaker, housewives, and others.  Participants were from Holland, Italy, England and the United States.  Everyone in the group was willing to share past experiences and future hopes.  It was a wonderful to be part of something that attracts such a wide variety of interesting people.
Most recent
From September 23 to September 27, 2000,  Bonnie attended a fascinating class on the Brain Speaks through the Upledger institute in San Francisco, CA.  It was a wonderful class that emphasized the healing abilities of the brain.
In June of 2001, Bonnie went swimming with the dolphins down in Freeport, Bahamas.  What a wonderful experience.  Dophins are marvelous healers.
In 2001, Bonnie also started to study Lymphatic Drainage and Heart Centered Therapy.  These techniques were developed and taught by Bruno Chikkly, DO (hon), and Alaya Chikkly, LMT.  Both use non-invasive methods to improve the body.
Starting in 2006, Bonnie started to learn additional brain techniques known as Manual Neuro Reorganization Facilitator to be used to assist in closed head injuries once fully released from your doctor.
